Chasing is the process of using our diamond saws to cut or channels into concrete or block walls or floors; these channels are known as ‘chases’. The diamond wall chasing process is invaluable to electrical and mechanical engineers as it allows them to install concealed wires or drainpipes into the structure. These installations can be fitted to function independently or form part of the building’s existing plumbing or electrical systems.
Our twin-bladed machine easily and efficiently dry cuts chases upto 45mm wide by 35mm deep into a hard wall as required. As with our other diamond drilling functions, this process is dust-free with virtually no vibration. This allows us to carry the work out to a higher standard, saves time and money on dust disposal and reduces the risk of structural damage in the wall.
We understand that a complex wiring job may require more than one chase to be cut. For that reason, we can cut wider chases capable of fitting double or treble conduits if required. With our several years of diamond cutting experience, we are more than happy to offer tailor-made solutions to any individual chasing requirements you may have.
